Graham Potter has claimed in his post-match press conference that he is excited about the future of Chelsea youngster Carney Chukwuemeka.
The former Aston Villa man was impactful off the bench last night, despite the Blues’ 0-0 draw with Brentford.
A string of second half substitutions swung the game in the visitors’ favour, with Christian Pulisic also looking extremely promising off the bench.

It was nearly a dream night for Chukwuemeka, who was denied by David Raya late on the eve of his 19th birthday.
Nevertheless, in just his second appearance for the club, he can be proud of his efforts in what proved a tough game for Chelsea.
He has received praise from Potter for his performance. The manager was complimentary of the impact he brought to the side in the final stages.
Potter excited about Chukwuemeka
He said: “He’s a big powerful boy that can run and he can run away from people. I thought him and Christian did well. He’s a young player but he’s got exciting attributes we just need to help him reach his potential.”
After the big-money deal in the summer, fans will be pleased that they are finally seeming to see more of the teenager.
He did not get a single minute for the club under Thomas Tuchel.

Chukwuemeka will now be hoping he has done enough in his cameo to be considered for a place in this Saturday’s game against Manchester United.
With Erik ten Hag’s side hot on the heels of the Blues for a place in the top four, Potter will need to pull out a result at Stamford Bridge.
With the flat display for the opening hour last night, a talent like Chukwuemeka could be what the Blues need to help them to the three points on Saturday.
