Following an international break where his players have travelled all over the globe, Maurizio Sarri will be looking to maintain his perfect start as Chelsea manager.
The Italian has won four out of four, and his side welcome Premier league new-boys Cardiff City to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues went into the break following a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth, with Pedro and Eden Hazard getting on the scoresheet.
As for Cardiff, they have had a tough start to life back in the top flight.
Neil Warnock’s men have picked up two draws and two defeats from their opening four games, scoring just twice.
But there were signs of life in their previous game against Arsenal; a clash where they ran the Gunners close.
Giroud to get first start?
Olivier Giroud has yet to be given a real chance this season at Chelsea.
The Frenchman has played only 70 minutes so far – all from the bench – while he is a permanent starter at international level.
With Alvaro Morata’s impotency in front of goal, Giroud will be chomping at the bit to start.
Pedro over Willian?
Despite doubts over his importance heading into the season, Pedro has started on fire.
The Spaniard has bagged three goals in four games under Sarri, and is looking like Chelsea’s most dangerous player.
And, with Willian only recently returning from the USA because of international duty with Brazil, Pedro will get the start.
