Leicester City’s Marc Albrighton has named Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante as his second best ever teammate.
Albrighton, 31, is a winger at Premier League rivals Leicester and a key part of the famous Foxes’ side that won the title in the 2015/16 season.
He only played alongside 29-year-old Blues star Kante for one year during that campaign, but he ranks him right up there as one of his best ever teammates just behind Leicester forward Jamie Vardy.
“I’ve got to give it Vards, it would be between him and Kante. Kante I think was incredible for us (Leicester). He was an extra player that year, and obviously with the two centre-halves we had he protected them so well,” Albrighton told talkSPORT.

If Kante was to retire today, then surely he’d go down as one of the top midfielders to play in the Premier League.
It’s no surprise to hear Albrighton marvel over Kante, who was instrumental to Leicester’s shock league title.
Kante left such a huge mark at the King Power Stadium during just a one-year spell.

Chelsea then felt the benefits of his world-class abilities the following season after his move to Stamford Bridge, as he was an ever-present in Antonio Conte’s title-winning team.
He’s an all-action central midfielder renowned for his stamina, tackling and interceptions to help cover the defence.
Additionally, over the years he’s become a lot more accurate and capable on the ball.
Kante is still a real favourite at Chelsea, competing for the midfield positions under manager Thomas Tuchel alongside Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.
