Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz and Thiago Silva are back in training ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Rennes.
Frank Lampard confirmed that Pulisic will not travel to France with the rest of his teammates as the Chelsea manager remains cautious about the winger’s hamstring recovery.
The 22-year-old, however, still joined Monday’s training, along with Havertz and Silva who missed out on last weekend’s game against Newcastle.
The Blues currently sit at the top of Group E with seven points from three games and could secure a spot in the finals if the results go their way tomorrow.
But Lampard refused to get carried away and urged his players to remain focused on continuing their form.

“We are in a decent position, but the minute we drop levels or don’t prepare right it will change,” the manager told the reporters in his pre-match press conference on Monday (via Chelsea’s official website).
“Rennes are a very accomplished team, we found that out at the Bridge, and I have a lot of respect for them.”
He also pointed out that his team will still have to play an away game against Sevilla and a loss against Rennes could make things difficult in the last two matches.
“We have to respect this game, and we have to keep focusing on ourselves to keep that form going,” he added.
