Moises Caicedo’s agent Ali Barat thinks the Chelsea midfielder is a mix between N’Golo Kante and Jude Bellingham.
Chelsea signed Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion during the summer transfer window and Ali Barat has been speaking about the 21-year-old’s move in an interview with Tuttosport.
While Caicedo has arrived at Stamford Bridge, Kante has left, joining Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad on a free transfer.

With the Ecuadorian 11 years Kante’s junior, the Blues will be hoping that he can be the Frenchman’s long-term successor.
Ali Barat compares Moises Caicedo to N’Golo Kante and Jude Bellingham
Barat thinks Chelsea have signed a really talented player in Caicedo, comparing him to both Kante and Bellingham.
“He’s a pure talent who blossomed at Independiente del Valle, half an hour from Quito,” the Ecuador international’s agent said. “A mix between Kante and Bellingham: the Frenchman’s running and the Englishman’s technique. An explosive ‘cocktail’.
“And to think that the beginnings in Great Britain and Belgium were very hard for him, caused problems with settling in, with language, with adaptation.”
Moises Caicedo similar to N’Golo Kante
You can definitely see some similarities between Caicedo and Kante, with both players being exceptional ball-winners.
Caicedo has not been anywhere near his best since joining Chelsea, costing his new club a couple of goals. However, he is still making two tackles per game in the Premier League, which is actually the third-highest average in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad (WhoScored).
Ultimately, the Blues did get a very good player by signing Caicedo and if he can start adding goals to his game like Bellingham, then the former Brighton man could become an even better one.

However, the main reason he has been bought is to replace Kante and add more steel to Chelsea in the middle of the park.
Regaining possession for Pochettino’s side and stopping counter-attacks, that is what Caicedo is going to be judged on.
