Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes has named N’Golo Kante as one of the hardest players he’s ever faced.
N’Golo Kante, who left Chelsea this summer, has to go down as one of the best midfielders to ever play in the Premier League.
The 32-year-old Frenchman enjoyed seven glorious seasons at Stamford Bridge, but left in the summer and now plays for Saudi Arabia club Al Ittihad.
We certainly remember him tormenting countless opponents during his time in England with his freakish stamina.

Fernandes, 28, has given special praise to Chelsea’s former midfielder.
When asked about his toughest ever opponents, Fernandes told Sky Sports: “In the Premier League you play against top players. Kante was difficult, Rodri is really difficult, Declan Rice is really difficult.
“Declan and Rodri are probably physically really similar. Kante is more small but quick and sharp.”

We always hear Kante’s name pop up in these kind of interviews. For instance, Moussa Sissoko once named Kante as his toughest ever Premier League opponent, via Watford’s YouTube channel.
His time had to come to an end at some stage, so attention is now on how the Blues rebuild their midfield.
Moises Caicedo’s arrival from Brighton this week has lifted everyone, with many tipping him to be a like-for-like replacement for Kante. In fairness, he covers the ground so quickly and effectively like the former Blues star.
With Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez in the centre of the park, Chelsea may find themselves back in a position to compete with some of the best midfields around.
