Darren Bent has praised Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic for his performance earlier this week in the win against AC Milan.
Graham Potter continued his unbeaten run as Chelsea boss with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday night away to AC Milan, which lifted the Blues to top spot in their Champions League group.
Jorginho and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both scored during a really impressive result at the San Siro in the European contest.

Kovacic against AC Milan
TalkSPORT pundit Bent highlighted £40million star Kovacic for the quality of his midweek display, especially his seriously impressive passing.
“Some really good performances [against AC Milan]. I thought Kovacic was good; he kept possession of the ball and moved it really well,” Bent told talkSPORT.
With Milan going down to 10 men during the first-half, Chelsea kept great control of the game with some intelligent and eye-catching possession.
Kovacic made 83 passes with a 93 per cent accuracy against the Italian champions, with teammate Jorginho the only player on the pitch to complete more passes (WhoScored).
Pat Nevin said last month the Jorginho-Kovacic combination can be so dominant for Chelsea when they’re in the mood, which was certainly the case in the Champions League success against Milan.

Croatian king
Kovacic is quietly going about his business again this season to consistently be one of Chelsea’s better players.
The central midfielder already looks a pivotal figure under Potter, starting four of his opening five games.
Aged 28, he’s someone that should be entering the prime years of his career.
The Croatia international works so effectively as an all-action central midfielder that can really influence games in both halves of the pitch.
He does have a great range of passing in his locker. In particular, fans love his low driven passes at the times he tries to get Chelsea moving forward quickly.
