Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah may be available to play again by the start of next month.
That is according to journalist Liam Twomey.
Trevoh Chalobah, 24, is yet to play a minute this campaign due to the hamstring problem he picked up in pre-season.
The Englishman hopes he’ll be ready to play again by early October, though.

There’s been a lot of talk in the media this week regarding Chalobah’s future.
The Evening Standard claimed that £50million-rated Chalobah could face being frozen out at Chelsea after a summer move away from Stamford Bridge failed to happen.
However, The Athletic journalist Liam Twomey doesn’t think Chalobah’s position in the Blues squad is under threat. In fact, he could actually be back from injury in a few weeks time.
Twomey wrote on X: “Chelsea made it clear throughout the summer and on deadline day that they wanted to sell Chalobah, but there haven’t been any suggestions he’ll be frozen out until January.
“He’s recovering well from a hamstring injury and hoping to be available again early next month.”

We would like to see Chalobah get a fair chance to compete for a Chelsea starting position when fit again.
It may have been best for all parties if the talented academy graduate had moved on in the summer, but he’s still here and can help at centre-back or right-back.
Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is perhaps slightly on the large squad when you look at personnel, but it’s still miles better than what his predecessors were dealing with last year.
