Reece James has taken to Instagram to hail the performance of fellow Englishman Jude Bellingham at the World Cup last night.
The 19-year-old is widely reported to be high on Chelsea’s list of targets when it comes to strengthening their midfield next summer.
Bellingham started his fourth consecutive game at the tournament last night, as Gareth Southgate continued to put his trust in the teenager.
The decision proved to be the right one in the end, with the Borussia Dortmund man starring yet again as England cruised to a 3-0 win over Senegal.
A driving run from midfield saw him get in behind the Senegal defence to set up Jordan Henderson for the opening goal.
The Liverpool man was in the team for the second consecutive game instead of Chelsea’s Mason Mount.
James praises Bellingham
Bellingham was also key in the build up to Harry Kane’s first goal of the tournament.
James was left amazed at the display of the 19-year-old, commenting “goated” on his post-game Instagram post.
It has been widely reported that Todd Boehly is leading a charge at Stamford Bridge to be in the race to sign Bellingham next summer.
With his talents clear to see, it is obvious that he will be the subject of one of the biggest transfer sagas in footballing history.
