Understandably, the father of Chelsea captain Reece James, Nigel, is looking forward to the World Cup.
Nigel will get to see his son represent England, while he is also confident that the Three Lions will do well under former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
In fact, ahead of the tournament kicking off, he has made a very bold claim regarding England’s chances.

Reece James’ father Nigel tips Chelsea captain and England to win World Cup
James senior is confident that England are going to get the job done after 60 years and finally win their second World Cup.
Speaking to the BBC, he said: “I think we will do very well. That’s why I’m confident that I could miss the group stages and be out for the quarters and the semis.
When asked for a prediction, he later added: “Win. All the way. It’s coming home.”

Winning the World Cup would be the perfect medicine for James after an extremely disappointing season with Chelsea.
The right-back and the Blues finished in 10th place and failed to win a single trophy. They did manage to reach the FA Cup final but lost 1-0 to Premier League rivals Manchester City.
James started in England’s final warm-up game and will be expected to be the Three Lions’ first-choice right-back at the World Cup.
Why Reece James’ importance to England is increasing by the day
James is undoubtedly the best right-back in England’s squad so was always set to have an important role at the tournament.
However, Bukayo Saka’s fitness problems could increase the significance of James’ role in the team.
Noni Madueke, who may have to fill in for Saka, is not as dangerous as his Arsenal teammate. It means Tuchel may need James to provide even more of a threat than he usually does to compensate for Saka’s potential absence.
James is one of the best attacking full-backs in the world, so the 26-year-old should be able to do just that if needed and if he can stay fit.
While Tuchel has taken James to the World Cup, the German decided to leave Trent Alexander-Arnold at home.
Gary Neville recently discussed James and Alexander-Arnold, claiming that the former has more power in his running.
