Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is reportedly ready to leave for AC Milan even if that means getting a lower salary.

According to talkSPORT, AC Milan are interested in signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Loftus-Cheek is already in advanced talks with the former Serie A champions over a move this summer.

The 27-year-old English midfielder is willing to take a pay-cut to make the move to Milan, according to the report.

Loftus-Cheek earns £150,000 per week at Chelsea, according to SalarySport.

Chelsea should just sell Ruben Loftus-Cheek to AC Milan

In our view, Chelsea should just severe ties with Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer transfer window.

If the Englishman is so eager to leave the Blues that he is willing to take a pay-cut to move to Milan, then the London club should just let him leave and get a decent transfer fee.

Loftus-Cheek has made 19 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea this season.

The 27-year-old has given one assist in those games.

We do not think that Chelsea will miss the English midfielder massively if he leaves.

Milan are a big club and a global brand, and moving to the Italian club and competing for the Serie A title would not be a bad idea at all for Loftus-Cheek.
