Reports from Italy have claimed that Chelsea will not have to pay nearly as much as before if they are to sign Rafael Leao now.
According to Tuttosport, the drop in performances this season have seen AC Milan now hopeful that they can get a bid in the region of £60m.
The 23-year-old was one of the club’s top targets last summer, as they looked to strengthen on the wings going into this season.

Leao, fresh off the back of a player of the season campaign, was seen as a key player for the current Serie A champions, and therefore unattainable for the Blues for anything less than silly money.
Supporters got their first viewing of the Portugal international up close earlier this season when they faced Milan in two crucial Champions League games.
While he certainly looked bright, he ended up coming out second best in a battle with Chelsea defender Reece James, who enjoyed two stellar displays despite picking up an injury in the latter.
Leao price dropped
It has still been a decent season in terms of stats this season for Leao, He has eight goals and six assists in the League this year.
However, it has now been claimed that Milan are far less hopeful on receiving a big fee for the 23-year-old.

This could interest Chelsea in a deal again, although they have already done plenty of strengthening in the wide positions in the last transfer window.
They signed Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke for big money in January, although they have been kept back seemingly in order to ensure they are ready to contribute to their best when given the opportunities.
This could see them look to strengthen in other areas that Leao doesn’t feature in.
