Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner would find it tempting to join Chelsea.
According to The Athletic, Oliver Glasner could be tempted by Chelsea to fill their vacant managerial position at Stamford Bridge.
It is understood that the 48-year-old coach recently turned down a contract extension at Frankfurt, with his current deal due to expire in the summer of 2024.
The Austrian’s greatest success so far is guiding Frankfurt to the Europa League trophy last season, beating Rangers in the final.
Now in his second season with the German club, his side currently sit sixth in the Bundesliga table. They’re into the semi-finals of domestic cup competition the DBF-Pokal, too.

The Guardian claimed recently that Glasner is one of the names on the Chelsea list of potential manager candidates.
It’s interesting to note that his preferred system is a 3-4-2-1, with the wing-backs playing a crucial role in the XI.
If Glasner did end up in West London, he would have two of the world’s best wing-backs in England internationals Ben Chilwell and Reece James.
The Blues have looked a lot more settled in recent times with a formation that includes a back three and wing-backs, so it could make sense to appoint a manager that uses a similar style.

We think any manager looking in would be excited about the prospect of working with some top-class Chelsea players. There should be caution over certain areas, though.
The club simply needs to sign a No.9 next season, something which was highlighted yet again in Tuesday night’s 0-0 Premier League draw at home to Liverpool.
In addition, the Blues need to cut their next year to a much more manageable size.
