Reports have claimed that Luis Enrique is now the favourite to take the vacant job at Tottenham after being rejected by Chelsea.
According to The Telegraph, the Spaniard joins Arne Slot as one of the frontunners to become the permanent manager in North London.
Spurs have found themselves in a similar position to Chelsea as their dire campaigns look to finally come to an end.

The Blues started their hunt for a new manager over a month ago, after Graham Potter was sacked by the club after less than a year in charge.
Todd Boehly made sure to give the Englishman plenty of chances but seeing his side drop into the bottom half of the table was enough for him to pull the trigger.
Enrique was one of the first names linked with the Chelsea job alongside Julian Nagelsmann, with the Spaniard being one of the first to be interviewed by the ownership.
Enrique frontrunner for Spurs job
However, the 53-year-old was rejected eventually, seeing them move on to other candidates.
The current frontrunner is Mauricio Pochettino, with it expected to be announced in the coming days that he will be taking over from next season.
Reports have already begun to emerge regarding the players that the Argentine wants to build around when he arrives at Stamford Bridge.

These have included the likes of Mason Mount, although it is still expected that he will be on the move at the end of the season.
Another name mentioned has been Levi Colwill, who some may have felt could have been surplus to requirements at the end of the season due to the defensive options at Chelsea.
A sensational loan spell at Brighton however has left the club adamant that he will be going nowhere this summer.
