Reports have claimed that Chelsea are demanding a fee of £25m in order to sell Christian Pulisic this summer.

According to the Mail Online, the United States international is wanted by three Serie A clubs, although AC Milan lead the way.

It seems as if Pulisic’s time at Stamford Bridge is set to come to an end. It probably won’t go down as a particularly positive one on a personal basis despite the accolades won.

Last season especially saw his minutes severely limited, with a combination of injuries and competition in the squad seeing him spend a lot of time on the sidelines.

January in particular was a dire month for the American, with his time on the pitch coming to a halt after injury against Manchester City.

By the time he returned to the squad, there were two fresh faces looking to provide competition out wide. Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk had joined the club and had made their debuts.

Their presence seems to have made him surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, and all parties will likely be better off if a move can be agreed.

Milan are reportedly keen on bringing the 24-year-old in this summer, even if they already have highly-talented Rafael Leao in their ranks.

However, they are reluctant to meet the fee being demanded by the Blues to part ways with Pulisic.

It has previously been reported that Todd Boehly has the winger high on his list of first team players he would like to leave in order to raise funds for their own signings.

They have already done well with outgoings, earning plenty of money from yesterday’s confirmed sale of Kai Havertz across the capital to Arsenal.
