Chelsea have reportedly made the decision for Armando Broja to fly out for the pre-season tour in the United States.
According to The Athletic, the 20-year-old’s future is currently “unclear”.
It is understood the centre-forward is set to jet out to the US this week to join up with the rest of the Blues squad that are preparing for the new 2022/23 season.
The report explains there’s been no significant movement over Broja, despite there being interest from Premier League rivals West Ham and Everton this summer.
It looks like Chelsea are yet to make a final decision on him yet, though.

Broja to fly out for pre-season
It’s going to be interesting now to see if Broja is given the time to impress Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, who does have several talented youngsters in his current squad for pre-season. The likes of Conor Gallagher, Levi Colwill, Billy Gilmour and Tino Anjorin are training with the first-team stars.
Recent reports suggest Chelsea are likely to sell academy graduate Broja.
However, the Albania international is now linking up with the main senior group for the summer.
The young striker was impressive last year during a season-long loan at Southampton, so plenty of the Blues fanbase would love to see him get a chance under Tuchel.

Havertz alternative
On paper, Chelsea prospect Broja may be a great option to provide cover for Blues attacker Kai Havertz.
It definitely feels like the squad needs a new striker following Romelu Lukaku’s season-long loan exit to Inter Milan, so there’s a gap for Broja to fill if he’s deemed good enough in pre-season.
All eyes are on Chelsea to see if they want to sell, loan or keep the youngster, though.
