Reports from Spain have claimed that Chelsea are interested again in signing Raphinha next summer.

According to Sport, the Blues are one of the clubs who could potentially help Barcelona with their financial issues by signing the Brazilian after less than a year at the club.

Chelsea were involved in one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer when they attempted to sign the player who was then at Leeds United.

Everything looked set for the winger to make the move to Stamford Bridge, after the two sides agreed a fee over a transfer.

However, Raphinha’s personal ambition to play for Barcelona stalled the deal for enough time for the Catalan side to raise the funds required to bring him in for £55m.

The deal hasn’t been a complete success so far, with him at times not being part of the starting side at the Nou Camp.

Their European exploits have been a notable failure too. After going out in the group stage of the Champions League, they fell at the first hurdle in the Europa League to Manchester United.

With them now in a position again where they need to raise funds to act in the transfer window, there has been talk of who could leave in order to bring in that money.

Sport have claimed that Raphinha could be one of the players surplus to requirements, with Chelsea again showing an interest in a deal.

Previous manager Thomas Tuchel was extremely keen on partnering the Brazil international with Raheem Sterling the wingers at Stamford Bridge.

It is unclear whether Graham Potter holds the same desire to work with the winger, especially after a winter transfer window where they signed Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke to strengthen that position.
