Chelsea are considering offering Ruben Loftus-Cheek to a Bundesliga club on loan as part of his rebuilding process.
This is according to the Sun, who say the Blues have their eyes on Germany as a possible pit-stop for the mended midfielder.
The 25-year-old is trying to impress Thomas Tuchel during pre-season, all whilst the doubts over his short-term Stamford Bridge future continue to linger.

It is still undecided whether he will be playing for Chelsea this term, or elsewhere in order to guarantee regular action.
Pat Nevin thought it would be difficult for the academy star to stamp his authority on Tuchel’s team this year.
End of the road for Ruben?
He has featured in all of the Blues friendlies so far, including the 2-1 win against Arsenal yesterday afternoon.
Speaking after the match, Tuchel was asked to comment on Loftus-Cheek’s progression over the past few weeks.

“Generally, I am happy and that’s why he plays, he deserves to play at this point of the preparation,” said the Blues boss.
“But I think he can do even more, he can show up more. He can show more physical capability and drive more with the ball.
“I’m never satisfied with him. I have the feeling we need to push him to the absolute limit.”
There will be no shortage of competition for midfield places this term, a task that Loftus-Cheek is currently facing.
Conor Gallagher’s move to Crystal Palace does open up space in the squad, one that is set to be heavily contested by several players.

Ross Barkley and Danny Drinkwater have their own ambitions of breaking back into the fold.
However, it is very likely at least one of the three Englishmen will be shipped out this summer.
Loftus-Cheek only just rejoined the side after his spell with Fulham, which wasn’t a blazing success but helped him regain fitness and confidence.
Another stint away from his boyhood club is still on the cards and Germany has a good track record of hosting British talents.
Just ask Jadon Sancho, Ademola Lookman and Chelsea duo, Lewis Baker and Ethan Ampadu.
