Graham Potter is apparently adored by several of the senior Chelsea players.
According to numerous sources from the Athletic close to the experienced members of the camp, they have ‘remarked recently how much “they loved Potter”’.
This is certainly the uplifting message the Blues boss needs right now in his moment of darkness.
An ominous cloud has covered Stamford Bridge in the past few weeks, where up until very recently it was filled with sunshine.
Pressure on Potter getting hotter
Potter’s future as Chelsea manager is already under consideration, following three Premier League defeats in a row.

The club have not faced the same fate since 2015, where Jose Mourinho lost his job after losing to West Ham United, Stoke City and Liverpool.
Whilst Mourinho’s most recent replacement in South West London is extremely unlikely to face the sack right now, his job is certainly under fire.
Luckily for Potter, it seems he has not only the backing of the board, but his team as well.
He’s clearly a very likeable character, who has a history of efficient man management.
Unfortunately, being friendly doesn’t win football matches.
His side have been far too soft recently, allowing opponents to roll them over and take advantage of the weak underbelly.

Even when Chelsea did show some resilience against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup, they still slumped to a 2-0 defeat.
Any of that fight seemed to evaporate in the next fixture, as Newcastle United easily strode to a 1-0 victory at Saint James’ Park on Saturday.
The World Cup will certainly offer a welcome break to Potter, who is in dire need of some time away from the spotlight.
