Frank Lampard is considering dropping Kepa Arrizabalaga tomorrow against Brighton, according to reports.
Chelsea face Brighton on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League, which is a meeting between 11th and 7th at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are enduring a really poor domestic campaign and are in the bottom half of the league table, but they shouldn’t let their season just fade out.
This weekend’s match is in-between the Champions League quarter-final tie against Real Madrid. Chelsea did lose 2-0 last week on their trip to Spain, but they host Madrid on Tuesday night for the second leg and will be looking to overturn the deficit.
For certain, this Blues side desperately could do with a confidence boost against Brighton.

The Evening Standard claims that Lampard is actually considering changing his goalkeeper on Saturday.
It is understood that Chelsea’s caretaker manager does have one eye on the Champions League second leg, so that could impact his team selection in the Premier League.
The report explains that Edouard Mendy, who’s now the second-choice goalkeeper at the club, is hoping for a recall to the starting line-up.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, 28, was definitely a real favourite during Graham Potter’s reign in charge as Chelsea boss.
The Spanish goalkeeper played in 27 of the 31 games under Potter earlier this season, cementing his spot back at the club as the number one.
Could that be about to change again, though?

The goalkeeper spot is one position you don’t usually mess around with, especially when it’s so close to a season-deciding match against Real Madrid.
There is no harm in rotating and trying some different things against Brighton. After all, the team are in woeful form and need a lift. However, it sends out all the wrong messages if Kepa is dropped this weekend.
Unless Lampard plans to start Mendy against Madrid, we say he should stick with Kepa.
