Chelsea January signings are surprised by the pressure they are already under, while Graham Potter’s future at Stamford Bridge is becoming more and more unclear, according to The Telegraph.

After collecting just two wins in the last 16 matches in all competitions, it is no surprise that Potter is facing the risk of losing his job at Chelsea.

The manager, however, is not the only one feeling the pressure.

The Telegraph claims that the January signings are shocked by the situation, too.

In an ideal world, these players should be in an adaptation period in which they would be slowly integrated into the team.

Instead, some of these new signings, such as Enzo Fernandez and Joao Felix, have been handed significant roles straight away.

Their price tags only raise the expectations bar on these players, too.

Bear in mind that among the players Chelsea brought in last month, Benoit Badiashile is the only one to have tasted a win at Chelsea so far.

Potter, who has been unable to get the best out of the expensive signings, may eventually pay the price.

Despite the reported ongoing support from the owners and the board, The Telegraph adds that the next two games will ultimately be “make or break” for Potter.
