Chelsea’s manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly on a summer shortlist compiled by Real Madrid, who are drawing up plans in case a scenario unfolds where they sack their current boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Spanish newspaper Sport claims the future of 62-year-old manager Ancelotti is not secure at the Bernabeu. In fact, Madrid’s results from now until the end of the season will determine his future in the Spanish capital.
The report states Los Blancos now have a shortlist of managers that they could look towards in the summer, which includes the genius Chelsea boss. Jurgen Klopp, Mauricio Pochettino, Raul Gonzalez and Xabi Alonso are the other managerial names mentioned.
It is understood Madrid president Florentino Perez is a big fan of Tuchel, though.
For Ancelotti, it looks like a pivotal couple of months ahead.
His side are nine points clear at the top of La Liga, but suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat at home to arch rivals Barcelona at the weekend.
They will be expected to get over the line to win the league crown. Also, they come up against Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Chelsea must build around Tuchel
The new ownership at Chelsea, whoever it may be, must build around current manager Tuchel.
Tuchel, 48, hasn’t put a foot wrong in over a year now at Stamford Bridge.
The German boss is delivering outstanding results on the pitch with this group of players, so needs to be back by any new owners.
It’s always a concern when a club like Madrid are linked with your staff and players, but Chelsea need to tie down Tuchel’s future.
