Reports have suggested that some Chelsea players believe that Julian Nagelsmann is set to become their next permanent manager.
According to The Telegraph, the German is the expected announcement to be made by Todd Boehly regarding the new boss.
The German has frequently been seen as one of the favourites for the role after the decision was made to sack Graham Potter a few weeks ago.

Todd Boehly was extremely patient with the former Brighton man, however dropping into the bottom half of the table made it difficult for him to defend him any longer.
Discussions have reportedly led Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique to be named the most likely candidates to be handed the job.
However, circumstances surrounding the timing of naming a permanent boss does hand the advantage to the manager recently sacked by Bayern Munich.
Chelsea players expect Nagelsmann
After his dismissal, it was expected that he would be looking to return to management at the end of this season, leading him straight into a pre-season with his new team.
The situation has allowed Frank Lampard to take the reins on a temporary basis, undergoing his second spell as a manager at Stamford Bridge.
However, he certainly has not done his chances of getting the job on a permanent basis any favours, after starting with four consecutive losses.

His players are reportedly already looking towards the next era in West London, with some believing that Nagelsmann is set to take over.
The former Bundesliga winner has not been short of praise, with him being described as ‘phenomenal’ in the past.
It will certainly be a risk to bring in another young coach, given how much of a headache the hiring of Potter proved to be throughout this season.
