All permanent Chelsea staff reportedly received a message recently regarding the potential takeover of the club.

According to Goal, each full-time employee and every level obtained an email ‘urging them to continue working towards winning trophies this season.’

This unified message will possibly have been read by the kit men or women, right through to Thomas Tuchel himself.

This signifies how momentous a change the organisation will go through if Roman Abramovich manages to sell his prized possession; everybody is affected.

Abramovich’s domination comes down

Abramovich put the Blues on the market earlier in the week, responding to sanctions that could be placed upon his assets by the government.

Bids are apparently being assembled by several powerful people in the wealthiest bracket of society.

Todd Boehly and Hansjorg Wyss have been tipped as the two men most likely to takeover Chelsea.

An official offer could be delivered by the end of the week, with Abramovich keen to sign on the dotted line before any incarcerations are confirmed.

Whilst the world holds its breath for an announcement, those working within Chelsea’s walls will be even more anxious.

Nobody knows what changes will incur with new ownership, for better or for worse.

Some might lose their jobs; others may earn a promotion.

Hold tight everybody

Until a final decision is made and the smoke begins to clear, people can only guess what the future holds.

Hence why, for now, the best thing to do is focus on the present, which for many means helping the team achieve success on the pitch.

Chelsea could still end the season with four trophies in their back pocket.

With the Super Cup and Club World Cup already secured, the FA Cup and Champions League are next on the agenda.

The Carabao Cup has gone and the Premier League is pretty much over.

But even the cruellest of owners would struggle to sack Thomas Tuchel with a quartet of silverware in hand.
