Reports have claimed that Chelsea supporters were full of praise for N’golo Kante after the 0-0 draw with Liverpool.
According to The Times, the Frenchman was clapped by fans as he left Stamford Bridge in his famous Mini Cooper.
Last night saw Kante’s first start since Thomas Tuchel was in charge of the club. His three appearances at Chelsea’s home stadium have all come under different managers.

Despite not starting since August, the 31-year-old hadn’t missed a trick, and gave plenty of faith that he can still provide elite performances at the top level.
He received plenty of praise from Jamie Carragher working on the game for Sky Sports, who even claimed that Liverpool players should have just tried to avoid him completely.
Kante is currently still out of contract at Chelsea at the end of the season, however indications are good that he will commit his future to the Blues.
Kante clapped out of Stamford Bridge
This is something supporters are extremely keen on, and those who attended the otherwise dire affair last night made their feelings more than clear.
He started yesterday in a midfield three, with Mateo Kovacic and club-record signing Enzo Fernandez alongside him.
The Blues will almost certainly return to a two-man midfield though for the crucial Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.

The France international’s previous performances against the current champions of Europe should give fans faith that they can produce what currently feels an unlikely result.
Supporters will now just be praying that his return, which is at this stage being managed well, will allow him to return to full fitness ahead of the trip to the Bernabeu.
Despite his brilliance, he was substituted first for Conor Gallagher, who has continued to prove he is relied on even without Graham Potter at the club.
