Reports have claimed that Denis Zakaria ensured he soaked up the admiration of the Chelsea fans after being subbed off in the second half.
According to Football London, the midfielder gave out a number of high-fives to fans as he made his way back to the dugout following being replaced.
The Switzerland international made his debut for the club last night, and was on the scoresheet as the Blues defeated Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

His goal was only the perfect way to cap off what had been a dominant performance in midfield. Player of the match Mason Mount has already claimed he believes the award should have been handed to Zakaria.
It will no doubt have been a massive relief for the 25-year-old to get onto the pitch at last in a Chelsea shirt, with reports swirling that Graham Potter was struggling to trust him with an appearance.
Zakaria admired by fans
However, the manager will be delighted with what he saw from the midfielder, and the Stamford Bridge faithful will echo that feeling.
Football London have shared that the admiration for the Swiss international was clear among the fans last night, with them full of applause for the debuting star.
Zakaria will now be hopeful that his performance was enough to see him in consideration for a start in Sunday’s massive London derby with Arsenal.

Potter is currently dealing with a plethora of injuries across a number of positions, although the midfield is one that is seriously affected.
With N’golo Kante’s long-term injury, Mateo Kovacic was also absent from the squad last night, leaving big questions over who may feature at the weekend.
With Cesar Azpilicueta seemingly limping off at the end, fellow midfield option Ruben-Loftus-Cheek may be needed at wing-back, potentially opening the door even wider for Zakaria.
