Reports have claimed that Jorginho has made an impression on the young players at Arsenal since his move from Chelsea last month.

According to the Evening Standard, the Italy international has not been afraid to voice his opinions despite only being at the club for a matter of weeks.

The Blues were unable to turn down an offer for decent money on deadline day from the Gunners, who took Jorginho with just a few months left on his contract.

Their attempts to sign a midfielder had come up short throughout the entire month, with them ideally looking to beat Chelsea to a deal to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

Neither side were able to convince the Premier League club to sell last month, and in turn each looked elsewhere on deadline day.

The Blues made a club-record signing instead, bringing in Enzo Fernandez after fierce negotiations with Benfica.

Jorginho training well at Arsenal

The World Cup winner has proven his abilities already since his move. He provided a sensational assist for Joao Felix last weekend against West Ham.

There may be fears about the character of player they have lost in the form of Jorginho however.

With his experience and long tenure as a regular at Chelsea, he had a certain trait the club could depend upon.

It appears as if he’s carried this on at the Emirates, with the Evening Standard reporting that he has already proven the qualities Mikel Arteta was looking for when he signed him.

The Italian was certain to leave the club at the end of the season, with there not even really being discussions to extend his stay.

Despite Chelsea needing to go in a different direction in terms of midfielders, his experience and leadership skills will be sorely missed at Stamford Bridge.
