The Raine Group have reportedly ordered each of the remaining Chelsea bidders to provide a long-term commitment to the project.
According to Sky News, the three candidates must guarantee that they will keep ownership of the club until at least 2032.
This decade-long pledge to the Blues is apparently an ‘attempt to ensure stability and continuity at Stamford Bridge’, claims one prospective investor.
Nothing is quite the same at Chelsea
Chelsea desperately need some stability and continuity following the events of the past few months.
Roman Abramovich’s decision to sell his prized possession and subsequent sanctioning induced by the UK government hasn’t helped the progression of the team in the slightest.

However, once the new owner is finally installed, hopefully the company can get back on track and start moving in the right direction again.
Abramovich spent nearly 20-years building a European powerhouse, only to give it up once the heat from the government became too severe.
Now, it is the task of either Stephen Pagliuca, Todd Boehly or Sir Martin Broughton to bring the glory back to Stamford Bridge.
Committing to the cause
Boehly has previous of sticking with a sports franchise for a sustained period of time, having been the co-owner of the LA Dodgers since 2012.
Pagliuca is also a loyalist in this regard, with 19-years under his belt since he bought the Boston Celtics.

Broughton meanwhile only lasted as Liverpool chairman for 186 days in 2010 before being replaced by Tom Werner.
Whilst both the American-led consortiums have drummed up decent backing throughout the procedure, it is their British rival that’s gained arguably the most famous support.
Last week it was revealed that Serena Williams and Sir Lewis Hamilton had offered to invest in Broughton’s bid, should it be the one picked to run Chelsea.
Legends in their respective sports, having Williams and Hamilton on board certainly isn’t something to be sneered at.
