Rio Ferdinand has suggested that Joao Felix could be an option to replace Kai Havertz in the Chelsea attack.
Chelsea played some fantastic stuff during last night’s trip to Germany in the Champions League, but they still ended up on the wrong end of 1-0 scoreline.
The Blues were caught out by Karim Adeyemi’s electric second-half goal on the counter-attack. It means Dortmund earn a slender advantage in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie.
It’s no secret by now that Graham Potter’s side have a serious problem getting the ball in the back of the net.

Joao Felix in place of Kai Havertz
BT Sport pundit Ferdinand has suggested Potter needs to make a change to his Chelsea line-up to help them score more goals.
He thinks one potential route would be pushing Felix up the pitch to replace Havertz as the striker.
“I think you’ve got someone like Joao Felix, he might be someone you could look at in that false-nine position,” Ferdinand told BT Sport 1 (10:25pm, 15 February).
“He’s the most creative player in the Chelsea team now. He’s only been here a short amount of time. He looks like their player now who’s the go-to guy. He may be the one you push in a more forward role.”

Havertz, 23, has been trusted to lead the line in the games post-World Cup. Unfortunately, he’s just not scoring enough goals and it feels like something has got to give.
Felix, who played in the No.10 position behind Havertz against Dortmund, once again looked like Chelsea’s most dangerous individual going forward.
The 23-year-old star was actually wasteful when he had two pretty clear chances to score in the first-half, though.
It’s definitely an option to advance him up the pitch to try get him in the box more often, but really you don’t want to lose that creative spark in the pockets of space.
In our view, David Datro Fofana should be a genuine option moving forward.
