Journalist Nizaar Kinsella has claimed that Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr are keen to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer.

He took to Twitter to state that they are now looking to partner the Chelsea man up with Cristiano Ronaldo next season.

It was near enough a waste of a season for Ziyech this year, with him unable to find a place in the team under any of the club’s managers.

Even though Frank Lampard was a reported big fan or the Moroccan, there were still no opportunities for him to start in games which ultimately meant nothing to their season.

The Blues are now looking to move on a number of players ahead of next season, in order to allow them to spend again this summer.

Ziyech wanted by Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia seem to be interested in a number of Chelsea players, many of whom the club would be hard pushed to turn down suitable offers for.

Kinsella has claimed that Ziyech is now another one of these, with the side in question looking for him to form a partnership with Ronaldo.

He said: “It didn’t make the piece but Hakim Ziyech has been the subject of an approach from Saudi Arabia’s big four.

“Al Nassr see him as a good provider for Cristiano Ronaldo but are working on multiple fronts.”

The Blues will be disappointed that they look as if they are going to be saying goodbye to N’golo Kante in the next 24 hours, after it became clear he wasn’t looking like signing a new deal with the club.

The lucrative offer he has received was too tempting, and it will be interesting to see if any other players are lured in by the big money being offered.
