Nottingham Forest could make a change in the dugout before they face Chelsea next Saturday.
Despite only joining Chelsea‘s Premier League rivals last month, Ange Postecoglou’s job is already in danger after a terrible start in charge.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss is yet to win a game, and it is now being reported that he could be replaced by Sean Dyche.
So, what does Dyche’s record against the Club World Cup winners actually look like?

Sean Dyche has beaten Chelsea just twice
Forest supporters would likely be happy with Dyche replacing Postecoglou in the City Ground dugout, with The Telegraph reporting that the former Everton and Burnley manager is emerging as the front-runner to succeed the 60-year-old.
Forest fans have just not taken to Postecoglou, but there is no guarantee that Dyche will be able to turn things around and get a positive result against Chelsea. In fact, his record versus the Blues should concern supporters if he does replace Postecoglou before next Saturday’s game.
In 18 matches against Chelsea, Dyche has only ever won two of them. The last came in 2023, a 2-0 victory with Everton at Goodison Park.
| Sean Dyche’s record vs Chelsea | Total |
| Games | 18 |
| Wins | 2 |
| Draws | 6 |
| Losses | 10 |
| Win percentage | 11.11% |
The last time these two sides met, Chelsea beat their upcoming opponents 1-0 to finish fourth and qualify for the Champions League.
Levi Colwill scored that day but could end up missing the whole of Chelsea’s Champions League campaign because of an ACL injury.
John Obi Mikel rates Colwill highly, tipping him to become a world-class defender one day.

The chances of Ange Postecoglou being in charge for Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea
As of now, according to The Telegraph, Postecoglou is expected to be in the City Ground dugout next Saturday.
However, you cannot rule out anything with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, so it would not be a complete shock if Postecoglou was sacked and replaced by Dyche before then.
Chelsea fans will be keeping a close eye on Forest’s managerial situation ahead of their side’s game at the City Ground.
