The majority of Chelsea players are already firmly back in action for pre-season at Cobham under the new manager.

Enzo Maresca has had an opportunity to take a look at a large amount of his squad ahead of next season, and this has included a number of those who missed most of last campaign due to injuries.

One of their returnees, Wesley Fofana, has been spotted with strapping on his knee already, arising some fears that he may not yet be fully over his injury woes.

Players who represented their country in the deep stages of Euro 2024 are yet to return to Cobham.

Cole Palmer is one of those, and even though he didn’t start a game for his country he was on hand to find the net in the final against Spain.

Cole Palmer back in the gym already

Despite the heartbreak of defeat, it has not taken long for the England star to get back to action. A video on his personal trainer’s Instagram story showed him back in the gym just two days after his country were knocked out.

Palmer made quite the impression in his first season at Chelsea. Roberto Carlos described him as ‘sensational’ following the impact he made.

There is a lot of talk over where he is going to feature under Maresca next season, with there being a chance he plays either in the centre or out on the right.

Palmer has record rise in Fantasy Football price

Chelsea supporters are almost certainly going to look to bring the 22-year-old into their Fantasy Football teams ahead of next season.

However, Palmer has seen a record price rise based on what he started at last year, making him a far more luxury asset.

The former Manchester City man will likely be back with his teammates before they make the trip to the United States, with a number of friendlies lined up to get them up to speed ahead of the start of the Premier League season.
