Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that Chelsea are considering their options when it comes to trying to sign Moises Caicedo.
He took to Twitter to state that they are yet to make a decision on whether they are going to return with an improved offer or move on to other targets.
Yesterday saw a much-needed update as far as Chelsea fans were concerned revolving around the Caicedo saga, however this did not bring the news that many were hoping for.

It was revealed that the Blues had a fourth bid rejected, with it being described as an immediate rejection.
They have certainly honed in on the Ecuador international as their number one midfield target to partner Enzo Fernandez for the upcoming season.
The midfield depth at Stamford Bridge is not looking too strong at the moment, especially after the likes of N’golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all moving on.
Chelsea considering Caicedo options
Sheth has claimed though that they may now look to move on to other targets after again finding no luck in negotiations with Brighton.
He said: “Brighton have immediately rejected £80m bid from Chelsea for Moises Caicedo as per Fabrizio Romano. They value him in region of £100m.

“Told no active talks currently. Chelsea deciding whether to go back in with improved offer or turn attention to other targets.”
The issue may be that the majority of their other midfield transfer targets are not now going to be available.
It has been claimed that they are considering a late move for Romeo Lavia from Southampton, although it may be that his move to Liverpool is too far down the line to hijack at this point.
