‘So weak’: TalkSPORT pundit slams tall Chelsea player for having ‘no aggression at all’ vs Man City

Dean Ashton couldn’t believe the lack of strength Chelsea forward Kai Havertz demonstrated against Manchester City.

Speaking on talkSPORT during the FA Cup tie between the two Premier League sides, Ashton called out Havertz for being void of any physical attributes.

The German international certainly has the frame to be able to throw his body around.

He stands at 6ft4in, one of the tallest member of Graham Potter’s senior squad.

Yet, the 23-year-old does have a tendency to be knocked off the ball rather too easily.

“Kai Havertz for me is so weak!” claimed former West Ham United striker Ashton.

“He’s a big lad, he looks like he should have something about him but he’s got no aggression at all.”

Havertz would be let off for not winning any wrestling matches if he consistently won contests for Chelsea.

Unfortunately, this has rarely been the case for the attacker since his move to Stamford Bridge.

Away to City, he once again led the line for the Blues but failed to fully affect the result.

For Potter’s team, anyway.

It was Havertz’s handball in the first-half that handed the hosts their second of the evening, before being subbed off at half-time.

Another limp night for Kai goes by.
