The youthful pair have delivered the goods so far in Qatar on a golden platter.

Bellingham has started and sparkled in each of the four games, with his performance rarely dipping below perfection.

The 19-year-old is very much the main man for Gareth Southgate right now, despite easily being the youngest member of the squad.

Saka is only a few years senior to his fellow Three Lion, but is also leading by example from the front.

He has three goals already in the competition, level with the likes of Lionel Messi, Richarlison and England colleague Marcus Rashford.

Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka must combine

If Southgate is to mastermind an epic victory over France, he will need his two bright sparks to be at their very brightest.

This pressure will understandably be felt by the players themselves, yet the confidence in their own abilities could be crucial.

“He’s a special player. I don’t really know the words to describe him. I just hope he can continue to keep progressing because he has a massive, massive future,” said Saka on Bellingham’s brilliance.

Bellingham has earned the utmost respect from his peers, pundits and rivals alike.

Chelsea have also pointed their attention in the direction of the tantalising teenager.

Todd Boehly is reportedly preparing to big bid for the Bundesliga gem, a fee that may rise to £135m and beyond.

It is a lot of cash to throw at one individual, but Bellingham is like no other individual in the sport.
