Diego Moreira has admitted that he’s been left in awe of Raheem Sterling in Chelsea’s first-team training.
Diego Moreira, who’s just 19, joined Chelsea earlier this summer from Benfica.
The exciting winger featured with the main Blues squad during the pre-season tour of the United States, but he’s started the new campaign with minutes in the Under-21s side.
He’s shared that Raheem Sterling has stood out in a positive way among the senior stars at Stamford Bridge.

Moreira has delivered a glowing verdict on 28-year-old Blues attacker Sterling.
“I have already had the opportunity to train and play with the men’s team, seeing how they train and play and with all their experience, I see why they are top players. I want to get there by applying some of those habits,” Moreira told the club’s official website.
“I have learned so much from all the players because you can pick up tips from anyone, even if they do not play in the same position as you, but I think Raheem Sterling is special. I like the way he plays.”

Signed for £50million (BBC) last year, Sterling certainly underperformed during his debut year in Chelsea colours.
However, we won’t be surprised if the numerous youngsters around the group look to him for inspiration.
Sterling recently predicted he will be Chelsea’s top scorer this season, as quoted by Sky Sports. Let’s hope the winger can take that confidence on the pich.
We liked what we saw from him during Mauricio Pochettino’s first game in charge in the 1-1 Liverpool draw, but this team really needs its attackers chipping in with goals.
