So far, Chelsea have not made the big name signing that has seemed to sum up their transfer windows ever since the new ownership came in.
Whether it be Enzo Fernandez or Moises Caicedo, it has not been uncommon for Chelsea to splash big money on bringing a superstar to Stamford Bridge.
Up to now, the highlight addition is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who looks as if he is somewhat of a replacement for Conor Gallagher if he moves away.
However, recent reports have linked them back to a signing who they were expected by many to pursue throughout the entire last season.
Victor Osimhen was seen as the number one target at the club for a new striker, however their attention seemed to turn away from it after the announcement of Enzo Maresca as new manager.

Collymore predicts Victor Osimhen could flop at Chelsea
Talk has returned though, with a potential loan deal that far better suits their financial requirements being mentioned.
Stan Collymore has now had his say on the potential move, with him saying that a high price tag that would bring too much pressure on the striker to hit the ground running as the new face of the club.
He told Caught Offside: “That player, whoever it was, got talked about way beyond whether they were good, bad or indifferent on the pitch. It was always that the record signing would be expected to make the difference which I always thought was very unfair.
“The big-name signing that won’t just entertain us but will also become the poster boy of both his club and the entire Premier League.
“That could well be the case for Victor Osimhen if his rumoured move to Chelsea comes off, because the mind boggling numbers then puts unfair pressure and expectation on him.”
Nicolas Jackson fit again
It feels as if a striker is not high on the list of requirements for the club at the moment, with them having Nicolas Jackson preparing for his second season of Premier League football.
Jackson has just been spotted back in training ahead of their next pre-season friendly against Manchester City, a side they will take on in the official season curtain-raiser at Stamford Bridge.
