A strand of Chelsea supporters on social media was desperate for Hakim Ziyech to start the FA Cup final against Leicester City tomorrow.
Ziyech has played an important role leading up to this year’s Wembley showdown.
The £33.3m (Sky Sports) summer signing scored the winner in the semi-final to knockout Manchester City.
He also bagged in the previous round triumph over Sheffield United.
Blues fans felt Ziyech deserved a stab at silverware on Saturday for his contribution.

It’s been an indifferent maiden Chelsea campaign for the Moroccan international.
Like many of the new recruits, Ziyech struggled to immediately hit the ground running following his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
A knee injury kept him side-line for the season’s opener, before a hip problem detained him for the entirety of December.
But there have been patches where the 28-year-old looks like the real deal.
Big occasions need big players and occasionally, Ziyech has managed to fill that duty.
Alongside the cup strike, he also netted away to City in the Premier League earlier this month.
Add to that his fine breakaway goal in the Champions League at home to Atletico Madrid, the attacking midfielder can turn it on when necessary.
There are few greater occasions in the English footballing calendar than the FA Cup show piece event.
Shine at the national team stadium and Ziyech could go down in Chelsea folk law for all the right reasons.
