Geremi has claimed that Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante is a player who only keeps getting better.
Kante, 30, is a world-class midfielder that’s been performing at an elite level for several years now.
His £30million signing in 2016 goes down as one of the club’s best ever pieces of transfer business because he’s outstanding in the centre of the park.
Interestingly, ex-Chelsea player Geremi believes that the Frenchman keeps improving. Also, he suggests he’s grown more into a leader and takes more responsibility.
“Big, big player,” Geremi told The Mirror when discussing Kante.
“When you look at his stats everything is at the top and I think he is still getting better. He is taking more responsibility and you see the season he had last year, and this season also what he’s doing.
“For me, the biggest player in the world right now, I can say that.”
Another former Blues star, Joe Cole, even suggested Kante’s got the potential to surpass Frank Lampard’s legacy as a player.
It’s a bold claim to say the World Cup winner is getting better, especially as a few injury problems have started to creep into his game.
However, there’s nobody quite like him when he’s on form.

Senior Chelsea core
The very bedrock of the club’s recent success has been a spine of experienced players working alongside all the talented youngster.
First of all, it helps massively to have experienced midfielders like Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic keeping a lid on things during games.
Meanwhile, there are players with real pedigree like Thiago Silva, Romelu Lukaku and Cesar Azpilicueta among the squad.
It’s so crucial for Blues manager Thomas Tuchel to keep some wise heads alongside his rising talents
