There is good reason for players at Chelsea to be happy right now, with the team starting the season pretty well.

Chelsea currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, taking 13 points from their first six games.

Going forward, Enzo Maresca‘s men have put in some really impressive performances. For example, they recently beat Brighton & Hove Albion 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.

Their attack has been on fire lately, and Darren Bent thinks that one of their offensive players is loving life in west London at the moment.

Darren Bent on Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho had a difficult time at Manchester United. The winger even had to leave the club temporarily in January after a fall out with Erik ten Hag.

At Chelsea, though, Bent thinks that Sancho is really enjoying his football, with the 24-year-old already racking up three assists in just three games.

Discussing Sancho and his Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer on talkSPORT, the former Premier League striker said: “It almost feels like a club that’s been [in] chaos for maybe a couple of years, he [Palmer] just seems to be that one who’s been dropped in the middle of it and gone, ‘OK’. But him, even Sancho, Sancho’s smiling, happy!”

Despite setting up one of Palmer’s goals against Brighton and winning a penalty, Sancho was not completely satisfied with his performance.

Sancho admitted that he started the game slowly, but Chelsea did as a whole after conceding just seven minutes in.

Jadon Sancho happy at Chelsea

Sancho has looked happy at Chelsea, and that is likely down to the fact that he is starting games and seeing his team win them.

That was obviously not always the case at United, where he was earning £250,000 a week, according to Spotrac.

As per Capology, Chelsea are only paying Sancho £100,000 and are set to sign him permanently next year for around £25m.

If the England international continues playing the way he has been, then it is going to go down as very good business.

Sancho staying would be bad news for Mykhailo Mudryk. Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali remains a fan of Mudryk, be he has now fallen behind Sancho in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
