Pundit Dean Saunders has now claimed that he would absolutely love to play alongside Chelsea’s Cole Palmer.
He told TalkSPORT that as a former striker, he would be the ideal player to have feeding passes to him due to him always making the right decision.
Palmer has achieved a lot of praise in recent weeks, however it has been more than fair after a number of very impressive performances for his new club.

This culminated with a player of the match award in his last game before the international break that came against his former side, Manchester City.
He proved to them that they made a mistake letting him go over the summer, with the Blues bringing him in on deadline day.
This has seen him gain a lot of praise from pundits, with Saunders being just one of those to wax lyrical about the 21-year-old.
Saunders would love to play alongside Palmer
He said: “It’s been coming, you start to watch him in the last few games, he’s been better and better on the ball.
“You know when he breaks down the right wing and there’s people chasing him and you think, he’s going down a blind alley, you’re going to get caught with it. He turns out at the right time, he passes at the right time, he always passes the ball forward, and he never passes sideways.
“I’d love to play with him, you know he’s going to pick his head up and put you in.”
Palmer has been rewarded for his great club form with a first call up to the England senior side for the upcoming EURO 2024 qualifiers.
With the Three Lions having already qualified for the upcoming tournament, there could be an opportunity for the youngster to make his debut for the side, especially after a number of key players have pulled out.
