Darren Bent has predicted that Thomas Tuchel could return to Stamford Bridge in the future to be Chelsea manager again.
Chelsea are currently a few months into Graham Potter’s reign as the Blues head coach, something we hope lasts a long time and brings great success.
However, the previous manager is someone still massively adored by a large chunk of the fanbase at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel was the first sacking of the new Chelsea ownership back in September earlier this season, which did come as a surprise to plenty of people.
The 49-year-old has cemented himself in the club’s folklore for guiding his side to the Champions League trophy. He left west London with a strong 62.6 per cent win ratio as Blues manager, too.

TalkSPORT pundit Bent thinks that the German coach could be back in the Chelsea dugout one day again.
However, he can’t see him linking up with London rivals Tottenham. This comes despite the Evening Standard recently reporting that Tuchel would be open to taking the Spurs job if Antonio Conte vacates the position.
“I don’t think he would be (interested in Spurs), Thomas Tuchel, no,” Bent told talkSPORT.
“I could see him potentially going back to Chelsea at some stage… not straight after Potter.”
Tuchel is yet to return to football management since his Chelsea departure a few months ago, but his next club will be getting a top-class individual with a lot of pedigree.
It seems too far in the distance to discuss him potentially coming back to the Blues. For now, the entire focus is on Potter.
The idea of the same Chelsea ownership rehiring Tuchel at a later date does seem far-fetched, but stranger things have happened in football.
