Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella has taken to social media to send his thanks to teammate Nicolas Jackson off the back of their 4-2 FA Cup quarter-final win.
He took to Instagram to state that he was thankful for the striker, likely for the assist he provided in the first half of the game.
Cucurella scored his first goal for the club early on against the Championship side last night, turning the burners on to get on the end of a Jackson cross.

The Senegal international had skipped past his defender down the right before providing the perfect ball across goal that kicked off an interesting game for sure.
The Blues eventually got the better of Leicester City, after being pegged back to 2-2 within the first 15 minutes of the second half.
It took a red card for their opponents, won again by Chelsea’s forward, for momentum to really shift for the good, and two of their substitutes cashed in with late goals.
Cucurella thanks Jackson for assist
Carney Chukwuemeka’s strike was added to by Noni Madueke with minutes to go, and that helped the Blues book their place at Wembley again this season.
Cucurella was one of the more impressive performers for the Blues yesterday afternoon, and took to social media to praise his teammate for the contribution he had in his first goal for the club.
He simply said: “Nicolas thanks.”

With Ben Chilwell seeming to have reaggravated some sort of problem in one of the recent weeks, there is likely going to be a reliance on the Spaniard to play a lot of minutes in the coming weeks.
With his performance though, it would feel harsh at this stage for him to drop out of the side, and the balance he provides to the attacking Malo Gusto is certainly a nice counter right now.
