Frank Leboeuf criticised Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling after his latest performance over the weekend.
Raheem Sterling, 28, was part of the Chelsea side that could only manage a 0-0 draw during their trip to Bournemouth in the Premier League.
The £50million forward (Daily Mail) has quickly become a nailed-on starter in Mauricio Pochettino’s side, but he’s still missing the final piece of the jigsaw in attack.
He hit the woodwork against Bournemouth with a stunning free-kick. The English winger lacked the end product in his attacking play, though.

ESPN pundit Leboeuf suggested Chelsea’s Sterling was quite wasteful on Sunday, especially when it came to his final pass.
“Sterling was unlucky, but we saw the clumsiness of Sterling at some points—the last control, the last pass,” Leboeuf told ESPN.

Sterling’s omission from the England squad for the recent international break raised plenty of eyebrows, but his only goal so far this season came in the win against Luton Town.
The rapid wide player is looking like Chelsea’s most threatening option in attack, albeit he’s not in clinical form.
Blues head coach Pochettino recently explained he wants to help Sterling get back into the England squad, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
Now, the 28-year-old simply has to take the reigns in the Chelsea XI as they desperately search for a regular goalscorer.
