This weekend will see the Chelsea manager return to his former side for the first time since making the move to Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca won the Championship with Leicester City in his only season in charge of the club, and has made a very strong start to life in West London.

The Blues currently sit third in the league, and now have a very attractive run of fixtures on paper ahead of the busy Christmas period.

A number of players will be returning to their former side this weekend, with Wesley Fofana and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall back to where they spent a number of seasons.

Dewsbury-Hall has stated he will not celebrate if he does score against the Foxes, although it remains unlikely he will even start the game.

Enzo Maresca not expected to be booed at Leicester

The duo are likely in for different reactions when they are back at the King Power Stadium.

According to Leicester City News’ Callum Boyle, Fofana is likely to be booed, as well as Ben Chilwell if he is present at the game.

However, he says that Dewsbury-Hall, as well as Maresca, are likely to be welcomed back with open arms, after only leaving the club over the summer.

Maresca will be hoping that the international break has not seen any of his first team players unable to feature as the Premier League rolls back around.

Chelsea injury update ahead of Leicester game

Jadon Sancho has been spotted back in training after suffering from illness and injury before the recent break.

Romeo Lavia withdrew from international duty after picking up a hamstring issue, with there now being fears that he could be set for another spell on the sidelines.

This would see the boss hoping that late returnees Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez both survive their final international match of the week unscathed.

Elsewhere, Wesley Fofana and Cole Palmer have also already been spotted in training after withdrawing from international duty before their respective camps began.
