Aubameyang and Silva
Pundit Keown has noticed a pattern during Potter’s opening three games as Chelsea manager.
He’s highlighted that the experienced duo of Aubameyang and Silva have started all three matches, winning two and drawing one so far.
Keown wrote for the Daily Mail: “That’s three games and three different systems, each one top and tailed by a specialist goalscorer in Aubameyang at one end and a defensive expert in Silva at the other.
“They are key to Potter’s continued success at Chelsea and all these adaptations demonstrate this coach’s ability to change his team shape in order to beat whatever opponent is in front of him.”

Vital experience
It’s great to see so many talented youngster in this Chelsea group, but it needs top experience to combine everything together.
Aubameyang, 33, is a proven centre-forward that’s now off the mark with two goals in four games this season.
Meanwhile, Silva, who is 38, continues to be a defensive colossus in the heart of the backline. The Brazilian centre-back is still one of the team’s top performers, albeit you feel Potter will need to manage his fitness carerfully.
