Izzy Brown has made it clear that he would rather remain at Sheffield Wednesday permanently than re-join Chelsea in the summer.
Speaking to The Star, Brown was honest in his answer about wanting to stay with Wednesday instead of returning to his parent club.

He openly admitted: “This club is a perfect fit for me… So, it’d be great for me to play here permanently, but you never know what people will do. But I’d definitely consider signing permanently.”
Brown joined the Owls at the start of 2020/21 on a season-long loan. This would be his second successive year in the Championship having helped Luton Town to avoid relegation, the side Chelsea play this weekend.
Chelsea signed him at 16 from West Bromwich Albion and he subsequently rose through the youth ranks until the Blues awarded his first-team debut in 2015.

Like so many who have come before or preceded him, Brown was sent out on loan to gain experience. Vitesse Arnhem, Rotherham United, Huddersfield Town and Leeds United were all stop offs for the midfielder before he arrived in Sheffield.
He has made 15 appearances this campaign but has rarely managed a full 90 minutes. In fact, he has only done so on three occasions.

Despite his lack of serious action, the 24-year-old has found a home at Hillsborough that could not be said the same for Stamford Bridge.
“I would say that this club, and my previous one at Luton, have been the best set of boys that I’ve ever been with,” he continued in his appraisal.
Wednesday are keen to keep him, as is he eager to stay, especially as his Chelsea contract expires in June.
In response to possibly extending his deal with the Blues, he said, “It’s up at the end of the season, and they’ve got a two-year option I think. Honestly, I have no clue about what’s going on in the future” (The Star).

I think this rather unhappy relationship between Brown and the Blues needs to end. Why recall him if he just to be sent packing again?
Strike an agreement with Wednesday and let him flourish in a setting he feels safe.
