As England prepare for two matches during the international break, Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel has welcomed a Chelsea prospect into their senior training sessions.
Reece James’ withdrawal from the England squad means that there are no Chelsea representatives in the 24-man party selected by Thomas Tuchel. Thankfully, James doesn’t have a serious issue and should be available for the Blues after the international period.

Ahead of the upcoming fixtures, a Chelsea youngster has stepped up from England’s Under-20s squad to train with Tuchel’s senior group.

Harrison Murray-Campbell trains with England
It is another proud day for the Chelsea academy because Blues youngster Harrison Murray-Campbell, 19, has been drafted into England’s senior squad for training sessions.
Murray-Campbell, along with Manchester United’s Shea Lacey and Manchester City-owned Lakyle Samuel, trained with the main squad on Wednesday.
Hopefully, Murray-Campbell can kick on and be inspired after a taste of a main England camp.
At Chelsea, he knows there is a pathway into the senior squad because he’s seen the likes of Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George make the step in 2025.

What Enzo Maresca said about Harrison Murray-Campbell last season
Murray-Campbell, who’s a regular for the Chelsea Under-21s side, is a commanding centre-half with incredible potential. In fact, he’s already scored three goals at youth level for the Blues in nine games this season.
Last year, Murray-Campbell made his first-team debut for the Blues, which remains his only senior appearance to date.
The 19-year-old defender played the final half an hour of a Conference League victory against Shamrock Rovers at Stamford Bridge. Aside from that, he featured in the matchday squad with the first team a couple more times.
Blues head coach Enzo Maresca was impressed by what he saw from the Chelsea youngster on his debut.
After his performance, Maresca delivered high praise on Murray-Campbell. The Chelsea boss said: “When you play the first game, it’s never easy, so he did quite well. We have seen that he’s good on the ball, he’s also good defending, and I think he could deserve the chance to get minutes tonight, and he was OK.”
