Chelsea players Jorginho, Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger have all been nominated for the main prize at the annual London Football Awards this year.
The three Blues stars are in the running for the Premier League Player of the Year 2021-22 trophy at the London Football Awards, which is due to take place at the start of March.
Chelsea’s trio of representatives are joined by in-form West Ham duo Jarrod Bowen and Declan Rice on the shortlist.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane was the recipient of the 2020/21 prize.
Meanwhile, the last Chelsea player to win it was Tammy Abraham during the 2019/20 campaign. Abraham, who was sold by Chelsea to Roma in the summer, has scored 17 goals in just 30 appearances so far this campaign for the Italian side.

Chelsea experience invaluable
Yes, there is so much excitement within the Blues fanbase because of how many talented youngsters are in the squad.
Thomas Tuchel’s group depends so much on its experience, though.
First of all, Brazilian star Silva is still one of the very best centre-backs in the game at the age of 37. The way he’s performed during 18 months at Stamford Bridge has been phenomenal.
Secondly, 30-year-old Jorginho has seen his game improve steeply during the last year. The deep-lying midfielder is a rock in the centre of the park that is such a wise head for Tuchel to call upon.
Finally, Rudiger is only getting better with age. The 28-year-old’s arguably in the prime of his career right now and his experiences have turned him into a serious leader on the pitch. There is reportedly “increasing hope” Chelsea can get him to extend his contract beyond the summer.
