Reports have claimed that Todd Boehly has now begun to accept that not everything has been perfect during his time as the owner of Chelsea.
According to The Telegraph, there is an acceptance among the ownership that they may have jumped the gun in sacking both Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter last season.
Talk of another manager firing is already beginning to spread around the supporters of Chelsea as they endure another rough season at Stamford Bridge.
The latest setback came earlier this week when they were defeated against Middlesbrough in the first leg of the semi-final in the EFL Cup.
With no disrespect to their opposition, the Blues will certainly be of the opinion that they should not need to perform an inspired comeback at home in two weeks’ time to reach the final.
However, it has been reiterated in numerous reports that the club are keen to not replace the Argentine until he is given at least the remainder of the season.
This opinion may come as a result of the previous campaign, where four different coaches took charge of Chelsea for a Premier League game.
Tuchel did not last longer than the first few weeks of Boehly’s reign, with it clear that there was a discontent between the two.
His replacement, Potter, found it difficult to get anything going during his time at Stamford Bridge, and this led to him being sacked in his first season at the helm.
Given how the Blues have not really built on what was happening during his time at the helm, it is perhaps clear why they may see they made a mistake with his sacking.
When taking into account what Tuchel achieved while he was here, it is not difficult to see why some may regret their decision revolving around him.
